Our Services
Biltmore Iron & Metal Co. will supply containers from one (1) cubic yard to 50-cubic-yard roll-off trailers; dumping hoppers; and flat-bed or van-type trailers. If you wish to deliver to our facility, we will weigh your vehicle on our electronic scales. Smaller quantities will be weighed either on platform or in-ground scales by one of several weigh masters. All scales are North Carolina state certified for accuracy yearly and calibrated monthly! Biltmore Iron & Metal Co. will unload materials by crane or forklift, if needed. All services are performed quickly and efficiently.

Biltmore Iron & Metal Co. does not accept the following:
- Beer Kegs
- Cardboard
- Capacitors
- Closed Cylinders
- Fluids of any type
- Foil
- Glass
- Mercury
- Paint cans
- Paper
- Plastics
- Propane tanks, unless in two pieces
- Radioactive materials
- Rubber
- Smoke detectors
- Spray cans, unless punctured or crushed
- Tires
- Torque converters, unless drained
- Televisions
- Wood
Effective October 1, 2012, North Carolina House Bill #199 has mandated the following for all scrap metal yards in North Carolina:
- No cash at all for copper, only checks
- Only one cash transaction for nonferrous metals per customer per day allowed
The following will be enforced:
- All nonferrous (aluminum, stainless steel, ect.) over $100 will be paid by check
- Requirement to record license plate make, model and color of delivery vehicle
- Requirement to make a photocopy or electric scan of NC or federally issued driver's license or ID card
- Requirement to obtain a photo or video of seller with metals
